Storywork for the soul
Explore the stories that have shaped you — the moments you remember, the histories you carry, and the experiences you are still searching for the words to express.
Life happens in moments.
The moment I fell in love.
The moment I became a mother.
The moment my life changed forever.
The moment I took responsibility.
The moment I looked fear in the face and stood my ground.
The moment I fell apart.
The moment I picked up the pieces.
The moment I chose joy.
You are invited to explore the stories that shape your life.
Storywork is the practice of slowing down, listening to the stories we carry, and exploring what they might reveal about who we are becoming.
Through writing, reflection, conversation, and creative expression, we revisit meaningful moments and the stories we've inherited from family, culture, relationships, and our own lives.
We don't tell you what your story means.
We create space for you to discover what it means to you.
Digital Storytelling
Your voice. Your images. Your story.
Sometimes a story becomes clearer when we can hear our own voice telling it, see the images that belong to it, and place the pieces together.
A digital story brings together your recorded voice, photographs, images, music, and memory to create a short film from your lived experience. I'll guide you through writing, recording, image selection, and editing. You don't need previous filmmaking experience—just a story you want to explore.
A story from my own life: Shadow and Light
What falls away. What remains.
I created Shadow and Light in the fall of 2024, during a time of layered loss. I was shedding old identities, relationships, a career path, homes, and familiar sources of security.
Once again, I was being asked to surrender.
The season offered a way to explore what I was living. Through this story, I spent time with the questions of what was falling away and what remains.

The Story Circle
Share, listen, witness, and reflect.
Something happens when we speak a story aloud and someone listens with care.
Together, we share stories, listen to one another, and reflect on what emerges.
When a storyteller welcomes feedback, we offer reflections and questions to support their exploration.
In a story circle, we hear our words differently. We notice where our voice catches, what surprises us, and what asks for more attention.
You decide what to share and what your story means.
How I Came to Storywork
My relationship with storytelling began in research, listening closely to people’s experiences and exploring how to communicate them with care. During my graduate studies in sociology, I began incorporating images into my ethnographic storytelling, drawn to what they could reveal alongside words.
A decade ago, I took my first digital storytelling workshop with StoryCenter and fell in love with the process. Working with my own experiences, I discovered how voice, images, and reflection could change both the stories I told and my understanding of it.
I bring that experience into my workshops, along with a deep curiosity about the ways our lives, our stories, and our encounters with Spirit shape our destiny.
